Mick Denieffe – Button Accordion, Concertina and Melodeon
Born into a musical family in South Kilkenny, Mick Denieffe has been playing music since a very young age. Since moving to Inishowen in 1980, Mick has been involved in the local music scene across Donegal, playing concerts and sessions as well as participating in Ceilis and Set dances.
Mick is very passionate about Irish music and has a keen interest in preserving the traditional music of the locality. He is involved with the Inishowen Traditional Irish Music committee and has transcribed many tunes played for Ceili and Two Hand Dances in the north Inishowen area.
As a member of Mulroy Music, Mick is adept at introducing children and adults to traditional Irish music, as well as helping the more ‘practiced’ musician with their repertoire, techniques and styles. Mick prepares students for the London College of Music Examinations as well as helping with arrangements for various Scór and Fleadh competitions.

Martin Crossin – Guitar, Uilleann Pipes and Tin Whistle
Martin Crossin is originally from Belfast and his interest in music developed from an early age when his father taught him music on various instruments including the tin whistle and guitar. Martin describes Belfast as one of those pockets of the country where there was a thriving community of uilleann pipers – this environment helped him hone his skills and master his craft. He won an All-Ireland title in 2003 and has taught workshops for Na Píobairí Uilleann.
Martin is also an excellent maker of Uileann pipes and his pipes and reeds are held in very high regard by his peers. To have a pipe maker and teacher in our setting has been instrumental in forming the nucleus of excellent young pipers in an area where there were previously none.
Martin has a distinction at Grade 8 guitar and follows the Rockschool Electric Guitar syllabus and the RGT Acoustic Guitar syllabus for students who prefer to follow a graded course in guitar and the London Collage of Music syllabus for performance exams on pipes and whistles.
Martin has been with us since 2011 and has vast experience of teaching adults and children from beginner’s right up to helping students master advanced skills and techniques. His classes are entertaining and enjoyed by all. The results achieved by his students are testament to his teaching skills and also to his passion and enthusiasm for music.
